One of the battalion commanders of the so-called “Nagorno-Karabakh Defence Army” has been arrested, said Armenian Investigative Committee, APA reports citing Sputnik Armenia.

It has been noted that the battalion commander is accused of leaving the combat field during the war, resulting death, injury, capture of numerous servicemen.

It has been noted that I.Vaganyan did not perform his duties during the combat operations, refused to obey the orders of his immediate superiors and left the battlefield on his own. As a result, the personnel of the battalion suffered losses.
